In a nutshell: We utilize and handle your data with the same discretion you expect of other highly reputable service providers. Just like those other providers, we use data we collect about you to learn more about your behavior as a visitor to our site, as a customer, how you react to different pages on our site, promotions, etc. This information is not tied to your identity and appears to us anonymously. We don't share your data with any third parties except with contractors of ours (such as data analytics or IT service providers) that are bound by this policy, and we delete most of them 10 business days after our engagement with you is complete.

The CareerZeus is a brand and trade name of Progress Ltd., a company located in Karuizawa, Nagano, Japan. We refer to both collectively as “The CareerZeus” for the purposes of this policy.
The CareerZeus is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal data (as described in this policy) are processed fairly and lawfully in line with all relevant privacy legislation. While The CareerZeus is subject to Japanese law only, in practice, we try to be as compliant as possible with key privacy regulations in the US and EU, as well. We do this because it's the right thing to do but also because our payment processors demand it.
For the purposes of this policy statement, the terms “résumé”, “curriculum vitae”, “CV” and “C.V.” are considered to be synonymous and are all referred to as “résumé”.

Your data are stored either on computers of our company, or in a secure data storage location provided by Microsoft Corp., that is controlled by our company. Before transferring personal data to any third party (e.g. contractors, partners, software solution providers, and back office support), we establish that there is a legal reason for making the transfer, which may include your consent.
We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
We do not maintain a long-term or permanent database of your personal records. When we have completed the provision of services to you that you’ve engaged us for, and when we have received payment for these services in full, and when a period of ten business days has passed during which there has been no further communication between you and us, we will delete all personal and professional information we have about you from all our systems, with the exception of email correspondence between us that does not include attachments or links to online file storage locations, and with the exception of payment data that we and/or our payment processor must keep for longer periods. It is your own responsibility to keep copies of the work we have performed for you.
